Description
The 1991 British Grand Prix was a thrilling affair. Polesitter and home favourite Nigel Mansell duelled the whole race with the McLaren of Ayrton Senna. Mansell emerged victorious, with Senna’s car running out of fuel on the penultimate lap. waving to the crowd on the slowing down lap, the Englishman spotted Senna’s motionless car by the side of the track. In a wonderful act of sportsmanship, Mansell gave the Brazilian a lift back to the pit lane, with Senna perching on the side pod of Mansell’s FW14.
This is a stunning chrome sculpture which immortalises that moment in chrome. Signed by Nigel Mansell himself, it is a must have for any F1 fan.
