Sir Jackie Stewart (often called “The Flying Scott”) is one of the most successful Formula One drivers in the history of the sport. Winning three world drivers championships between 1969 and 1973, Stewart was also instrumental in improving the safety of the sport, which has come on leaps and bounds compared to the heady days of the 1950’s and 60’s.
