Born in Monaco, Leclerc is the 2016 GP3 World Champion and 2017 FIA Formula 2 World Champion. Leclerc was confirmed with Prema Racing for the 2017 season, his only in the F2 Championship. The signing proved to be the correct one, Charles won 7 races, finished 2nd twice, and 3rd in the opening race of the season. Leclerc is pictured here racing during the 19th round in Jerez, Spain. He won this race which was enough to secure him the 2017 F2 World Championship.
