Bob Atkins
Some spectacular and rare machinery will be up for auction during the Hall of Fame event, with H&H Classics’ Woodcote Park auction being held on June 6. It’s the first collaboration of its kind in the Hall of Fame’s history.
The evening before, June 5, a special auction preview evening will give prospective buyers and classic car enthusiasts the chance to run the rule over the lots while enjoying the picturesque and exclusive grounds of the Royal Automobile Club, Woodcote Park.
Current notable lots include a Subaru Impreza WRC 97, as revealed in our March issue, and a 1958 Tojeiro-Climax. The catalogue also includes a recently restored – and upgraded with power steering, sat nav and air con – one-owner-from-new Aston Martin DB5, which heads the list and is expected to fetch in the region between £700,000 to £800,000. A rare Bentley S1 Continental Fastback, once owned by actor Patrick Allen, is also expected to reach six figures, so too a rare Lancia Aurelia B20 GT Series III and excellent Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Speciale.
