Snetterton in Norfolk is a national venue on the site of another World War II airfield. From 1980 to 1994, the biggest event was the Willhire 24 Hours for production saloon cars and it was also the venue for the first round of the new European Formula 2 Championship in 1967. Acquired by Jonathan Palmer’s Motor Sport Vision in 2004, it was redeveloped in 2011 with new “The 300” its longest configuration. Today, a round of the British Touring Car Championship is the annual highlight.
