McLaren has unveiled its full-time IndyCar effort ahead of the 2020 season. The team has unveiled the liveries that will be used by both of its drivers as part of the Arrow McLaren SP team.

Patricio O’Ward will be at the wheel of the No5 car with 2019 IndyLights champion Oliver Askew graduating from the feeder series to pilot the No7 car.

O’Ward has prior IndyCar experience, racing in half of last year’s season. The 20-year-old recorded a best finish of eighth at the Circuit of the Americas, as well as competing in a handful of races in Super Formula and Formula 2.

The new partnership between McLaren Racing and Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsport will be the first full-time entry to IndyCar for the British team.
