This year’s 100th running of Le Mans is the most hotly anticipated in recent memory: the biggest top class field in years featuring entries from Ferrari – back at the top tier after an absence of half a century – Porsche and Toyota, with a new dawn of sports car racing set to truly blossom.
There’s few who can guide you through the inside story of endurance racing’s renaissance than the man who knows the secret of winning at La Sarthe better than anyone: Tom Kristensen.
Hosted by Motor Sport in partnership with Classic & Sports Finance, the nine-time winner of sports car’s biggest race will be talking all things Le Mans at IET London on May 17. Tickets are now available with an early-bird discount.
As well as speaking about the greatest moments in the history of the endurance classic, the former Audi, Porsche and Bentley man will also signing be signing copies of his book Mr Le Mans.
This will be followed by a dinner with Kristensen at Smith & Wollensky in Covent Garden for Supper Club members only – limited tickets remain.
What to expect
From 6pm Kristensen will be signing copies of his award-winning book Mr Le Mans. Guests can bring either their own copies or purchase a copy at the event on the night.
The talk begins at 7pm lasts for 90 minutes, after which there will be a dinner for Supper Club members with Kristensen at Smith & Wollensky’s Covent Garden restaurant – an intimate occasion with the chance to interact with the driver and ask any questions you might have missed earlier.
A three-course meal is included with the price of your ticket.
