Hot on the heels of Brian Redman, we will be speaking to Tim Schenken for another Motor Sport podcast and putting your questions to him.

Schenken burst on to the racing scene in 1968 in Formula Ford, and was in Formula 3 by April of that year. After a 1969 F3 season battling Emerson Fittpaldi and Ronnie Peterson, he joined the Formula 1 grid in 1970.

Schenken was impressive enough to be offered a Brabham contact by Bernie Ecclestone but turned it down, which proved the beginning of the end of his F1 career, and led him to sports cars.

We’ll be asking him about his time with Porsche, racing the fearsome 917/10 to victory at Zandvoort, Nürburgring and Hockenheim, and competing alongside Derek Bell in a 935.

Post your questions in the comments below and we’ll ask as many as possible.
