After battling against Ayrton Senna in British F3, going head-to-head with Michael Schumacher at Benetton and commentating alongside Murray Walker for the early stages of his broadcasting career, there isn’t a lot Martin Brundle hasn’t seen in Formula 1.

He’ll be joining Motor Sport shortly to record a podcast where he talks about the highlights.

Brundle achieved nine podium finishes in F1, and raced for the likes of Tyrrell, McLaren, Ligier and Jordan, but his racing was not limited to single-seaters.

He won the World Sportscar Championship in 1988 and was on the top step of the podium at the 1990 Le Mans 24 Hours with Jaguar.

All of his experience and time out of the car chatting to the greats and sampling the best F1 machinery puts him in a unique position now in the commentary box.

He has been a mainstay of British F1 coverage since his retirement from the series in 1996, partnering Murray Walker through to 2001 and remains a key fixture on comms alongside David Croft for Sky’s coverage.

Leave your questions in the comments or on social media for a chance to have them answered in a future podcast.
