McLaren to run special one-off livery at Abu Dhabi GP

McLaren will run a special livery for the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as part of sponsor Vuse’s ‘Driven By Change’ campaign.

The design has been created by UAE-based artist Rabab Tantawy as part of the initiative that aims to promote and showcase the work of artists that may lack visibility and representation.

Tantawy’s design was created in a collaboration with automotive media designer Davide Virdis and features her distinctive Nubian Series blended with the team’s papaya and blue colours.

It also marks the first time a female artist from the Middle East has designed a bespoke Formula 1 livery.
