The 2019 Ferrari Roma is an addition to the firm’s range, promising to combine style with performance
Ferrari has revealed a new V8-powered coupé named Roma, which is said to be a combination of “timeless design” and “unparalleled performance”.
The car was unveiled to Ferrari customers in Rome but few details have been made public about the new two-door, which expands the Italian firm’s range, rather than replacing an existing model.
It is described as a 2+ coupé, which suggests that some form of rear seating will be available, but the only interior image is of the two luxurious front seats, with digital displays in front of the driver and passengers, as on other Ferrari models.

Under the bonnet is a 3.9-litre turbocharged V8 engine producing 612bhp, which provides acceleration from 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of more than 199mph.
It’s more powerful than the entry-level Portofino and has more torque too, with 561lb ft.
With a long bonnet and bulging rear haunches, Ferrari describes the design as a “contemporary representation of the carefree, pleasurable way of life that characterised Rome in the 1950s and ‘60s”, which is said to “bring the concept of ‘la Dolce Vita’ right up to date”.
