Saudi Arabia targets top F1 teams and staff as it aims to rival UK’s motor sport valley
Remuneration: c.£2,000 per calendar month. Contract
Application closing date: October 3
Join one of the world’s leading motor racing titles as we approach our 100th anniversary.
We are looking for a writer to join our editorial team, primarily contributing to our website, motorsportmagazine.com. You’ll be writing news and features, keeping existing content up to date and uploading columns from our award-winning writers.
Starting on a three-month freelance contract, with the potential to extend, you’ll play a key role in our output so you’ll need to be in the office for three days a week, with the ability to work from home for the other two. Some weekend work will be required.
This role would be ideal for a journalist with a flair for writing, attention to detail, enthusiasm for motor sport and a good idea of the stories our users want to read.
We don’t mind how you demonstrate this. For example, it could be with a qualification, a blog or existing published work.
If you have experience in SEO writing, uploading web content and basic photo editing, then this will help you get up to speed more quickly in the role but isn’t essential. A strong knowledge of motor racing history will be an advantage
We are committed to equality of opportunity. If you think that you can thrive in this role, please apply by sending a covering letter and CV to: digitaleditor@motorsportmagazine.com
