Brno, Czech Republic

Marc Márquez notches up his 50th win in MotoGP, becoming just the fourth rider to do so. His win at Brno put him within four victories of Mick Doohan as he dominates the race from start to finish. Andrea Dovizioso and Jack Miller round out the podium, as a late-race pass by the Australian relegates Alex Rins to fourth.

NASCAR

Watkins Glen, New York

Chase Elliott takes his second win in two years at Watkins Glen, dominating the race by taking two stage wins on the way to victory. Martin Truex Jr sets up a shootout between the two for the second year running. Joe Gibbs Racing team-mates Denny Hamlin and Erik Jones finish third and fourth with Penske driver Ryan Blaney rounding out the top five.

WORLD RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP

Jyväskylä, Central Finland

Ott Tänak increases his championship lead over Sébastien Ogier and Thierry Neuville, winning his third rally in four events. Esapekka Lappi equals his best result of the season so far with second and compatriot Jari-Matti Latvala scores his best result of 2019 with third.

PORSCHE SUPERCUP

Mogyoród, Hungary

In the final race ahead of the summer break, Michael Ammermüller takes his second win of the 2019 season from Julien Andlauer and Larry Ten Voorde. A great move around the outside of turn 13 gave Ammermüller the inside for turn 14 and then the race victory.
