Historic racing was hit hard by the Covid pandemic, with most major events cancelled this year amid restrictions on spectators and the difficulties of bringing all of the cars together at the same time.
The French Historic Grand Prix says that it plans to welcome drivers from 20 different countries.
Three F1 grids will include several examples of the Maserati 250F in the ’50s and ’60s category, while a 1970-1985 race will incorporate the turbo era. Modern cars will be competing in a round of the Maxx Formula series
Several sports car and junior single-seater races make up the rest of the programme.
