First created in 1993, the Ferrari Challenge is a single-make series operated by the Maranello marque. Its first car was the 348 Berlinetta, but it has since evolved over time to use the F355, 360, F430, 458 and now the current 488 Challenge model.
Ferrari operates three regional classes around the world, the Ferrari Challenge Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific. There was formerly a domestic Italian series, but it was merged into the European category from 2012. All competitors can also take part in an end-of-season world final, the Finali Mondiali, which brings all Challenge drivers together from across the series.
The Ferrari Challenge GB is new for this year and runs over four rounds for its initial season, with races at Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Croft and Silverstone GP scheduled.
