The organisers of the fourth Grand Prix de Monaco Historique are making a concerted effort to encourage 1920s racing cars to enter.

This era has tended to be neglected by past Monaco events and it is hoped that a significant number of cars from the period will take part in the Pre-1947 Voiturette and GP encounter.

To be held over the weekend of May 15/16 next year, the event will include six races rather than the seven of previous years, and remains one of the most prestigious dates on the calendar.

The other races will be for pre-1961 front-engined F1 cars, pre-1951 drum-braked sportscars, front-engined Formula Juniors, pre-1966 rear-engined F1 cars and pre-1977 non-ground effect F1 cars.

Entries must be submitted to the Automobile Club de Monaco by February 15 and the grids will be confirmed by the end of that month.
