New gallery opens at Beaulieu
The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu has unveiled a new Motor Sport Gallery as part of its exhibition Speed: a Century of Motor Sport.
Created by artist Gerry Judah, the exhibition features a number of significant racing cars: a 1903 Napier, the ex-Stirling Moss 1958 Vanwall and an ex-Graham Hill Lotus 49.
The exhibition celebrates outstanding achievements in F1, Le Mans and rallying over the last 100 years.
The gallery also features cars from McLaren, Ferrari, Jaguar and BRM, and is flanked by the museum’s famous LSR cars: the Campbells’ Bluebirds, the 200mph Sunbeam and the 1929 Golden Arrow.
