Manx Classic back on board

A bumper entry of pre-1974 cars is expected for the 14th Manx Classic event, which runs on the Isle of Man between September 18 and 22.

A pursuit sprint on the 3.3-mile Willaston road circuit is a highlight, along with a floodlight sprint along the Douglas promenade.

A hill-climb at The Sloc and a race on the airfield circuit at Jurby are also included in the event, which had to be cancelled in 2001 due to the Foot and Mouth epidemic.
