VSCC at Prescott 1-2 August

The VSCC returned to Prescott for its annual two-day bash as the hill celebrates 60 years of competition. While bad weather made Saturday for die-hards only, the sun shone on Sunday giving cars from tiny Austin Seven specials (Rachel Bergman, left) to Bentleys and ERAs the chance to show their mettle. Star of the show was the newly restored 4.9-litre supercharged ex-Kaye Don Bugatti Type 54 which was demonstrated on the hill by VSCC stalwart Julian Ghosh. FTD went to Bruce Spollon in ERA R8C, while Julian Majzub took fastest vintage slot in his T35B Bugatti.
