Vauxhall Motors 75th Anniversary

Sir,

I refer to your interesting report of the recent Assembly at Luton (July Issue). May I, as owner of one of the two Hurlingham entrants, respectfully point out that they were not both 20/60 models, as reported. Mine is a T80. In addition to some differences in the chassis, the 20/60 has a 29 h.p. engine, whereas, that of the T80 is 23 h.p. The mistaken identity is understandable as  the bodies of the two models are identical.

A few other 20/60 Hurlinghams are known to exist, one in this country, others are scattered around various parts of the world. As to the T80, of which relatively few were produced, only one other roadworthy model is on record. It is in Denmark, in excellent condition and running well.
