Stewart at Stowe

Sir, With reference to your paragraph on page 868 of the August MOTOR SPORT, in which you stated : “After 82 practice laps you would have thought Scheckter would have learnt how to take Woodcote Corner at all speeds and from all angles.”

May I please state that I also feel that after 112 practice laps you would have thought Stewart would have learned how to take Stowe Corner! After all, he has been at it a bit longer hasn’t he ?
