A kit model

For those who have the time to sit quietly and assemble plastic model racing cars, and even more time for painting them, the FROG/AMT kit series produce a number of car kits at 6s. 2d, a time. These include T70 Lola, Chaparral, Indianapolis Lotus-Ford and so on. These kit models are so authentic and well made these days, and sell so well, that the racing-car manufacturers are trying to get some of the profits for themselves. The chromium-plating of plastic has reached such a high Standard that these models look extremely well finished. If ever there is an evening to spare I shall endeavour to assemble the Indianapolis Lotus-Ford, the exhaust system alone being a work of art.
