Sir, In Mr. Alan K. Clerk’s letter on the Frazer-Nash it is evident that he is one of the NE120 Jaguar’s most. rabid

supporters. It is noted front his last paragraph that there have not, in his opinion, been

any Frtzer-Nashes in the Alpine Itiilly. Messrs. Duff and Wiliterbottom in t he 1951 Alpine It illy lost no marks in Ilte road section of this event, and also equalled the brilliant Ian Appleyiird’s time in the filial test, so that if there hail been an award for best performance this would have been shared by a 2-litre

Frazer-Nash and a 34-litre Jaguar. I should like to see how an NK120 Jaguar would perform against a FrazerNash of any of the separate types made today. This would be allowing the Jaguar an advantage (very slight) in engine capacity, but the comparison would be a lot fairer, Anyone who saw the Frazer-Nash perform at the Dandred race circuit would have been favourably impressed by the handling qualities of it, and on certain liends the XE120 Seemed a little
