The Phoenix Park Races.

ENTRIES so far received for the races to be held by the Irish Motor Racing Club in Phoenix Park on September 16th total twenty-two. Of these thirteen will take part in the Senior Race, and nine will run in the Junior Race. The course is approximately 4 miles in length, and will be covered by the Senior cars (unlimited capacity) 24 times, and by the Junior cars (under 1,100 c.c.) 18 times.

The course is a fairly easy one, being fast and well-surfaced, and some good sport should be seen. It will be remembered that last year’s races were won by Ivan Waller (Alvis Silver Eagle) and A. H. Potterton (M.G. Midget).

The “Abingdon to Abingdon.” the

Regulations are now available for the M.G. Car Club’s Abington to Abingdon Trial, which will be held on Saturday, September 9th. The course will be 130 miles in length, the exact route being as yet unannounced, and will include the usual checks, an acceleration and brake test, a combined re-starting and timed climb test, a stop and restart test and an emergency stop test.

The trial is open to members of the following clubs : M.G. Car, Brighton & Hove, Cavendish Auto, Mid-Surrey, N. W. London, Sutton Coldfield & N.
