BLACKPOOL AND FYLDE MOTOR CLUB.

The President, Mr. Jacob Parkinson, presided over a good meeting of the Executive on Monday, and the all important question of the Blackpool autumn season was discussed, that of the motor races in October.

The Trials Committee are now getting busy and every week brings us nearer to what is anticipated as being one of the biggest things we have seen in Blackpool.

Everything possible is being done to make a huge success of the event, and every precaution will be taken to ensure both the safety of the public and the competitors.

Blackpool, with the opening of the New Club House, is to rank as one of the finest seaside motoring rendezvous in the country, and this autumn a bold bid for supremacy is being made.

The New Club House should prove a great attraction tolvisiting motorists, and special subscriptions have beenladopted so that the visitor can make the Club House a real home from home where a pleasant company is always to be found and plenty of recreation can be found amongst brother motorists.

The town itself has now realised that the Club’s activities are such that the commercial value to the town is far greater than the sporting side.

The trophies for competition at the autumn trials are stupendous, and all that is required is the ready and quick ,itresponse when the schedules are sent out, for by so doing the work of organisation will be greatly reduced, and the success of the event will be assured.
