WORM DRIVE CLIPS.

Known as the ” Jubilee” Worm Drive Clip, a new form of water pipe connection clip has been marketed by Engineer Lieut. I,. Robinson, R.N., and possesses advantages which should appeal to sporting motorists who do their own engine repairs. In place of the usual form of bolt tightened clip, the ” Jubilee” has an

ingenious worm mechanism, the heavy steel worm secured at one end of the clip engaging with diagonal slots cut on the other end of the steel ribbon. Not only does this simple mechanism give accurate adjustment, but the gearing effect of the worm produces an extraordinarily tight grip on the hose, thus preventing all chances of leakage from the rubber hose.
