Tales from Tyler

Thanks to Simon Taylor for a wonderful interview with Tyler Alexander in the September issue.

So many modern motor sport fans have no idea not only who Tyler and his compatriots are, let alone their very significant contribution to the sport these fans now follow.

My wife and I had the great pleasure of meeting Tyler on the Saturday evening of this year’s British GP. We were staying at a B&B only two minutes walk from where he was staying and when he was told that this Fl enthusiast would like to have the opportunity to meet him he was happy to arrange it. Stories and anecdotes flowed and we never for a moment felt we were intruding on his time.

An hour and a bit spent in a beautiful English country garden that evening, glass of wine in hand, made the whole weekend even more special.
