The debuts of former Indy 500 winner Kenny Brack and triple World Touring Car champion Andy Priaulx will top the Goodwood Revival race meeting on September 16-18. Brack (right), who has been contesting historic rallies this year in a Ford Escort Mk2, will share the exAlan Mann Racing Daytona Cobra

of Christian Glasel in the Tourist Trophy as the car returns to racing after a two-year rebuild.

“It was awesome and a privilege to be asked to drive it,” said Brack after a shakedown test. “I haven’t raced a GT car before.” Priaulx, who will head BMW’s return to the DTM in 2012, will race a BMW 1800 TiSA in the St Mary’s Trophy, with Brack also scheduled to handle a similar car. Other star

names in the race will include Rauno Aaltonen (Mini Cooper), Martin Brundle (Ford Galaxie), Richard Attwood (Lotus Cortina), Darren Turner (Mini Cooper) and Stig Blomqvist (Saab 96). To mark the 50th anniversary of the model, the Fordwater Trophy will be an all-Jaguar E-type contest

featuring many period racers. On the driving strength will be Andy Wallace, Gerhard Berger and Emanuele Pirro. Elsewhere Jochen Mass, Derek Bell, Eddie Cheever and Brian Redman will all be in action.

Significant cars making their debuts include the 1938 Bugatti T59/50B of Tom Dark, the Ferrari 857S of James Cottingham and a brace of Maserati V8RIs in the Goodwood Trophy.
