A rare drogo-bodied Ferrari 250 raced at Silverstone in the hands of father and son Larry and Nathan Kinch, eight years after the body was discovered in a barn.

Piero Drogo developed several aerodynamic bodies for the 250 GTO in period, including the famous ‘Bread Van’. This particular body was fitted to a 250GTO in 1965, but was then removed in the late ’70s.

Ferrari enthusiast Kinch acquired the bodywork eight years ago and had it rebuilt around a 250GTE chassis by GTO Engineering. “It was found in a barn in England,” said Kinch. “We’ve tried to keep it as original as possible.”
