Talbot team cars reunited
The Bentley Drivers’ Club staged the biggest gathering of Talbot team cars since the 1930s at its recent Silverstone meeting, including five of the seven cars raced and all four 1931 cars.
“It was a great opportunity to get the cars together,” said John Ruston, owner of one of the ’31 Talbots. His car was joined by those owned by Adrian van der Kroft, Chris Lunn and Nick Pellett, while Ruston’s 1934 car was also in action.
All the cars were prepared by Gareth Burnett and will next be together at Classic Le Mans in 2010, joined by the 1934 Talbot of Michael Strasoldo.
