Ollon-Villars Hill-Climb - Switzerland - 5 Kilometres (August 31st)
The Swiss climb was the last in the European Mountain Championship and rain on the second runs made a nonsense of the results, which were arrived at by addition of times, while Classification of the hill-climb actual was made on the best of two runs. Consequently there was one list of winners for the main event and a different one for the Championship. By addition the Championship results were:

3rd: W. von Trips (Porsche) . . . . . 11min 11.0sec
4th: H. Herrmann (Borgward) . . . . . 11min 22.4sec
5th: J Behra (Porsche) . . . . . 11min 33.5sec
As a result of the season of mountain hill-climbing the German driver W. von Trips became undisputed Champion, driving a works 1,500-c.c. Porsche: RSK.
