Sir,

You may be interested to hear that I and three companions have completed a 1,265-mile tour from Rugby around the north-west of Scotland and back in a mere 10 days in a 1926 Bean Twelve. This car gave absolutely no trouble throughout the week and averaged 22 m.p.g. Relays of drivers managed to average about 25 m.p.h. Our longest hop was 240 miles in one day, but the old Bean lapped up the worst that Scotland could offer in the way of gradients and so-called ” A “-class roads. I am, Yours, etc.,

J. S. CUTLER.
