INFORMATION SUPPLIED

Sir„

I note that in the correspondence columns of your September issue a letter from a reader requesting information as to the conversion of a Morgan SuperSports three-wheeler into a four-wheeler.

As it happens I am at present in the throes of that very job. I often wonder why the Morgan is not treated as a subject of either road tests by motoring journals or as a basis of a “special.”

It is extremely light in weight and yet houses a lusty 40 b.h.p. motor. Surely this is a more fit subject for an enthusiast than the everlasting” toughened” Austin Seven which has I believe a 16 b.h.p. engine and bags of weight.

I am using an Amilcar rear axle off a Grand Prix model and in fact am nearly through with the rear part.

I must express my appreciation of your MOTOR SPORT. It is obviously a paper written for motor enthusiasts by enthusiasts. I am, Yours etc.,
