Satisfying dish
Sir,
[Re the discussion on F1 TV coverage moving to Sky] I would’ve thought that any genuine motor sport enthusiast would have satellite equipment. I got my first dish in 1989 and have never regretted it as it introduced me to a vast array of wheeled sport that I hardly knew existed. As a result of its influence I have visited the USA twice to experience NASCAR live (Charlotte and Talladega), visited Le Mans twice, once for the retrospective and again for a proper live race, and this June I was glued to the screen to follow it again. Almost every aspect of four and two wheels is covered, and as a widowed pensioner I would not be without my satellite equipment.
