Onwards and upwards

Hillclimbs will play an increasingly significant role in the 2004 VSCC schedule, with events planned at five of the top venues in Britain.

The Prescott weekend, which drew record crowds in 2003, will be held on the weekend of August 7/8, while the one-day Shelsley Walsh event is planned for July 4.

With Wiscombe Park in May, Harewood in August and Loton Park booked for late September, following the successful experiment there this year, the VSCC is planning its biggest ever season of hillclimbing.
