The second running of the Rally of the Tests, which will start from Scarborough on Friday November 8, boasts a capacity 100-car entry.

The event commemorates the history of the RAC Rally before it became a forest stage event and will include more than 30 special tests on private land.

The route, which is largely secret beforehand, finishes at Bristol on Sunday afternoon.

Among the notable entries is the oldest car present, Paul Tunnicliffe’s 1932 Alvis 12/50. The bulk of the field, however, comprises sportscars and saloons from the 1950s, including the Riley 1.5 of Arthur Senior/Tony Mason, who are bidding to repeat their class win of 2001.
