HSCC Mallory Park

The Formula Junior pack turned in one of the best races during the Historic Sports Car Club’s annual Mallory Park meeting. With teenager Edwin Jowsey recovering from a slow start, Robin Longdon had to race hard in his Lola Mk5A to see off the challenge of Steve Smith (Cooper T59), Mike Hibberd (Lotus 22) and the charging Jowsey.

In Classic Racing Cars, Michael Scott gave his rare March 702 a commanding overall win, while Simon Hadfield’s Modus topped the Derek Bell Trophy field. Simon Garrad had an easy time taking Historic Racing Saloon honours in his BMW 2002.
