What Value Volkswagen?

I would have mentioned this sooner but I expected a reader living nearer London would already have done so.

After the end of the War the entire Volkswagen concern was offered to Great Britain as war reparations. It was turned down, the Beetle design being considered by the British motor industry (or the government) as ‘of no future value’!

What a sad mistake.
