After reading Bernie McDonald’s letter in MOTOR SPORT (September, 1990), and noting his kind reference, I should point out one small detail. The likely source of the coachwork was given as Fritz E Cie of Worblaufen whereas it should have read Fritz Ramseier & Cie. Often their coachwork is identified simply as Carrosserie Worblaufen. Quite recently another of their examples built on an Alfa Romeo chassis was discovered in Switzerland having been unused for many years, this time an Alfa Romeo 1900 Super Sprint Cabriolet.
