Power for the Pioneers

Those who like engines are advised that AE Tagg has produced a short history of Green and ENV aero-engines, called Power for the Pioneers which is is packed with many illustrations to back up the informative text. Indeed those who like early flying machines will find 221 thumbnail pictures of aeroplanes and airships powered by Green or ENV motors. Surviving engines are included (ten such Green engines are listed), among them the circa 1910 Type F ENV V8 which was run-up again in 1966, after having been in store since 1914.
