Grand Prix Models of 173-175, Wading Street, Radlett, Herts, can supply a big plastic kit which makes up into a very realistic and detailed Citroen 2cv. We understand it has been given a clean bill of health by a knowledgeable member of the Citroen OC and admirers of the imperturbable Deux Chevaux will love it. It is to 1:20 scale and the kit costs £1.80. The same firm has imported a 1/12th-scale model of the Safari Rally-winning Datsun 240Z which is complete even to fuel, oil and ignition runs and has working shock-absorbers. Its future offerings will include a JP Lotus to the same scale and early next year a big scale kit of a F1 BRM. These and a great many other models of all kinds are detailed in Grand Prix Models’ new catalogues, one devoted to kits; the other to ready-made die-cast miniatures They cost 20p each.

A series of picture-card models of commercial vehicles has been prepared by Bernard King, who made these first For builders of 00-gauge miniature railways and then for the HCVC and the TMS at Crick. They include cards for making the 1919 (livers Leyland van, a 1920 S-type London General open-top ‘bus and a 1923 articulated Scammell Lyons’ Tea van and a 1929 Leyland Titan ‘bus with Open Staircase and low-bridge body is in course of preparation. These cards retail at 23p each and should be in most model shops; they are distributed by Richard Ktionstain (NIKO) Ltd., of Hemel Hempstead.

The reprint of Cecil Gibson’s learned book about Dinky Toy miniatures is dealt with under the “Book Reviews” heading.—W.B.
