Turneer Christmas cards
Motor racing artist Michael Turner has again produced a most striking set of Christmas cards, larger than hitherto and nicely finished on matt cartridge paper. Turner’s vivid water colour impressions depict Jack Brabham and Jim Clark battling for the lead in the Dutch Grand Prix; Graham Hill winning Indianapolis; Surtees’ Ferrari taking the lead from Rindt’s Cooper in the wet Belgian Grand Prix; Jackie Stewart winning the Monaco Grand Prix in the B.R.M.; the Miles/Ruby Ford GT in the Eases at Sebring, and the Chaparral winning the Nurburgring 1,000 km. The only trouble with these cards is that they are too nice to give away-a set of 12 (two of each scene) costs 18s., including postage, and the pictures of Brabham (Dutch) and Graham Hill (Indianapolis) have been blown up to full-print 25 X. 30 in. size, costing 30s. each.
