The Douglas Race. interested to read
SIR,—I was very interested to read your details of the round-the-town race to be held in Douglas, Isle of Man, next year. Judging from the photographs, the course looks a thoroughly sporting one, and should test cars to the full. As a money making proposition for the inhabitants of Douglas it should be first-class, with the length of the Promenade completely lined by hotels and boarding houses nwhich will provide an ideal view of the cars at speed.
As you say, scratch racing is what is wanted, being easy to follow and exciting to watch.
