Ferrari Forever exhibition: 75 years of the Prancing Horse
Exactly 75 years to the day since Enzo Ferrari first fired up the 125 S to signal the birth of his marque, the museum dedicated to the man himself opened a new exhibition dedicated to showcasing its efforts to preserve history.
The new Ferrari Forever exhibition opened at the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena on March 12 and shines the spotlight on the Ferrari Classiche side of the company, which works to restore, preserve and authenticate classic Ferraris.
The exhibition gives visitors an insight into this previously unseen part of the company, including some of its most famous restoration projects, traditional processes and maintenance routines.
There are 15 officially certified cars on display, including some restored by the department itself. The work of Ferrari Classiche relies on access to the foundry and machine tools that produced the original parts, and the exhibition includes sections of the historical archive that includes perfectly preserved assembly sheets of every production Ferrari since 1947.
Ferrari says, “Ferrari Forever tells the story of a tradition of excellence that transcends time, one that will continue to innovate and evolve into the future. It will also serve as a reminder that every Ferrari has the potential to become a future classic.”
The exhibition is open to the public and runs until February 17, 2023.
