Yet another race series for 1960s saloon cars complying with Appendix K has been launched with the backing of H&H Auctions. Created by Tony Collins and Simon Hope of H&H, the new series will offer two-driver, hour-long races at mainly UK venues, starting at the new Knockhill Classic Speed Fair on July 23.
The series will have only two races In 2006, but that should grow to three or four in 2007 Including one race on mainland Europe.
“We’re principally running a series of one-off races,” said Collins. “We want to run a small number of quality events.” A number of V8 cars have already been pledged, while Richard Shaw’s BMW 1800 should also feature.
