Howard's way brings double

David Howard made it three wins inside a week when he guided his mighty Jaguar XJ12 to a double triumph at Snetterton. With the XJ-S V12 of Brian Stevens out on the last lap of the Classic Group One race, Howard claimed a 6sec victory over the BMW 2002 of Roger Stanford.

Howard’s Post-Historic win was no stroll in the park as the battling trio of Mark Lucock, Dave Nixon and Stephen Primett kept the Jaguar well in sight in their 2-litre cars.
