What an effective club the VMCC is
What an effective club the VMCC is. Founded in 1946, it has 76 sections, which between them organise over 1000 events a year. It recognises six categories, from pre-1915 to machines over 25 years old. It has specialists able to help with information on makes from ABC to Zenith (did you know that Maserati made ‘bikes?), a library holding more than 25,000 items, staffed by a librarian who is available to assist members, with back issues of most motorcycle magazines and 10,000 makers’ publications, and it publishes a monthly magazine. The VMCC’s address is Allen House, Wetmore Road, Burton-on-Trent, Staffs DE14 1TR.
