Perfect score for Bellm and Nutt

Ray Bellm and Dessie Nutt took top honours for the second event running in the Armajaro MSA British Historic Rally Championship as steady rain hit the North Wales forests.

Francis Tuthill/Nick Kennedy led the historic class until their Porsche 911 slithered off the road. Nutt/Geraldine McBride took fastest time on the four remaining stages to win in their 911.

The post-historic contest was a head-to-head between Bellm/Marc Jones and Richard Gower/ Carl Williamson. Bellm launched an attack in the 13 miles of Clocaenog Main and took a huge 26sec from Gower to seal victory by 12sec.

David Stokes/Den Golding went off on SS1, leaving third to Steve Smith/John Nicols. PL
