European F3 'screamers' return to Britain
The Historic Formula 3 1000cc European trophy will make a rare appearance in Britain this season.
The French-organised series has added a round at Donington Park on May 15-16 to its seven-round series, which also includes events at Montlhéry, Dijon and Spa.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the category, which ran from 1964 until ’70.
Several cars new to the historic scene are expected on the grid, and to mark the British race the organisers are inviting all F3 fans to join them in the Donington paddock for an informal gathering at 6pm on May 15. More details are available on www.F3historic.com
