Lotus 76 returns

American racer Jim Bennett is planning to race his ex-Ronnie Peterson Lotus 76 on European circuits this year. This was the car of which Peterson said at its inception that it was “better than the Lotus 72, but not better enough”.

The John Player Special-liveried car, albeit not with its original electronic clutch, is expected to contest several rounds of the FORCE Classic Grand Prix series, with support from Classic Team Lotus.
